Chapter 4 Dynamical Systems
We begin this chapter by exploring the concept of a sequence . Our ultimate goal is to use systems of related sequences to describe how certain physical quantities change over time via discrete dynamical systems. Many situations can be modeled via discrete dynamical systems, including the growth of populations over time, predator-prey interactions, and the spread of a disease through a population.
